Hellooo, tagged by the lovely
laughablelament, a new friend: seven lines from the seventh page of my longest WIP. I'm going with Book II of Rising Wolf (sequel to Beneath the Neon Moon) because Book I was done some months ago--
Kane moved in close, wiry, smaller than Zach, eager grin on his face. He ducked his head into the curve between Zach's shoulder and neck and breathed in. "Ah, that's nice. I missed your scent, Zach. Well, not that I ever thought I'd get to smell it again, or see you, since, well, you should be dead."
"I really hope you're amusing yourself," Zach husked, letting a tremor come through his voice. He eased his hands from behind his back.
No pressure, my wonderful flisters, but I'd love to see what
tipitiwitchet (I know I can't see my gift fic, of course, but something else?),
hardboiledbaby (and oh my GOD, I just realized I didn't wish you a happy birthday! Hope it was as incredible as you are!)
loyseofverlaine,
duluthgirl,
gryphon2k (I saw you POSTED on your story!! Let me see more;),
blackrabbit42, and
marianrose are up to:)

“What’s it feel like — knowing you’re about to die?” Starsky said, staring at Hutch’s neck.
Hutch winced as the blade began to slice into his skin. “Starsk. Please.” He tried to wrench Starsky’s hand away, but his partner was too strong.
“Shut up!” Starsky yelled, yanking harshly at Hutch’s hair. “Shut your mouth before I open you up, you son of a bitch.”

Wow, poorly written and freakish...don't ask.

Date: 2015-06-06 01:10 pm (UTC)The legend of Steve Rogers and Tony Stark is one of the most enduring in Rock and Roll. They are spotted as often (if not more than) Jim Morrison or Elvis, various shrines are visited daily all over the world, and fans still speculate daily about their ultimate fate on online forums. The cult that formed after their disappearance, the Devotees of the Two, certainly remains a part of current events. In the first month of 2014 in the United States alone, there were three protests, a public suicide, and a murder, all linked to the cult.

Date: 2015-06-08 04:00 pm (UTC)This may not end up being the 7th page in my WIP but it should be close. The end of my story is further along than the start so pages are still changing. Has this ever happened to you? It seems like the beginning of a story should be easier to write than the end.
Anyway, One long story that I would like to finish has Starsky & Hutch on a few road trips. There isn’t a lot of action but I put them in various locations, which I hope will provide interest.
(Nov/Dec 1976)
“Hand hurt much?” Starsky glanced at Hutch across the front seat.
Hutch looked down at the healing scars.
“Not too bad.” Hutch replied, despite the throbbing. He was relieved to be away from therapy for a few days but the pain was still there.
Hutch glanced across at Starsky. The weight in the space between them made this trip feel more like a funeral procession than the celebratory send-off it was designed to be. They planned this to be a fun, hell-of-a-good time road trip. It was to be their last hurrah before Hutch submitted his resignation and got a new job, a new start, away from Bay City.
