vid by PR Zed. I don't follow vids much, odd considering I try to do them, but. This person, PR Zed, is about to single-handedly convert me to multi-fandoms with this vid. Love this song, love this vid, choice of clips, editing, you name it. What the heck are all these fandoms, they look great. Most are older, seems like. Okay, I know some of their names, but where do you find these series to watch? Where to find info on them in general?

Someday when I get the time, I.. oh shit, I'm going to do so many things. Sigh. In the meantime, I recommend this vid.

oh, I've never seen Due South either. The lead looks so damned ... clean-cut. But see, there's that cute little red-headed man in there, not exactly your LEADING MAN, but I think he looks real.. pert. You know, the one who pulls his shirt up after he acts dead in the vid?

That would be Callum Keith Rennie (more blondish) He is Ray K, the slasher's dream (as Paul Gross--the Mountie--actually mentioned in an interview) He came after Ray V. I adore Due South because

a) there's a gen season and a slash season and you can swing both Rays (as I do)

b) Fraser (the Mountie) changes as you watch him with each Ray, the partnerships of both being slightly different because Fraser was different

c) it has one of the best finales in television history--the partners rode off into the sunset together to have a Candian adventure, just the two of them

It's definitely a show you should try, definitely. SO much love.

Guess what, Kim, my pal that I met from Me and Thee who actually happens to live in the same TOWN as me has all three seasons Due South. Guess who she loaned them to last night? Along with some crazy movie what's his face Rennie is in. I believe she thinks he's as hot as I do, and I mean seriously, would you call him a typical example of "hot"? I wouldn't, but Lord, there's something about the boy's mouth! And magnetism. If he and Fraser have a good chemistry, I'm going to like the 3rd season PLENTY. I just know it.

There's four seasons, but sometimes three and four are combined in DVD sets so as long as you got all the eps through Call of the Wild, you've got them all. Which CKR movie does she have (if it's Hard Core Logo, that's a WHOLE other ballgame) Due South is a very nice show, very complex and it builds on relationships (partnerships, friendships, father/son relationships, etc) I hope you enjoy the show!

Curious: why would Paul Gross call Rennie a slasher's dream? I'd like to read that interview, sounds interesting.

Because, as much as I love Ray V, he's not what I would call a classically handsome man. Ray K, however, IS. And Callum plays differently than David M. DM is more straight-forward, playing Ray V as almost emotionally closed off (in my opinion) while CKR plays more openly, Ray K is almost emotioanlly vulnerable to a point. I love them both, but in different ways.
