Summary
Based on Frankenstein: The True Story, with Leonard Whiting, Michael Sarrazin, David McCallum, Jane Seymour and James Mason. It came about because of a holiday exchange with my best friend, who gave me this prompt: "anything goes, but I wouldn't mind having some sort of explanation of why the creature never got a name. And it would be nice if Prima were in there somewhere."
I don't know that I explained the naming issue, exactly, but hopefully I gave some insight on it, at least within the context of my story:)
Notes:
The story incorporates/twists canon, beginning after Victor Frankenstein flees with his creation from a boarding home to the place where he brought the creature to life. They've fled because the landlord, old Mrs. Blair, collapsed and died after seeing the monster's deterioration.
I gave the creature the ability to speak a bit more fluently than he did in the movie. Otherwise, it sounded ridiculous in my head when I read it.
Read it here or on A03
