I'm signal boosting, copying straight from tumblr, because I feel this is literally one of the best-acted, best-written shows I have ever had the privilege of viewing. Yes, really.

Following the recent cancellation of Being Human, it seems the BBC are on a trend, they have now announced the cancellation of BBC2 show THE HOUR—starring great, young thespians such Ben Whishaw and Romola Garai, amongst other fantastic actors—but fear not, the fans have come together to attempt what some may call impossible; having the BBC recommission the show.

The internet is limitless, and tumblr has proved itself to be a driving force in “getting shit done”. The fans and the actors have banded together in trying to gather as many signatures as absolutely possible for a petition that has been lurking the internet since the fate of the show was seen to be on the rocks.

Now, I’m not telling you that you have to do anything, you know, but I do highly suggest you get on over and sign! It has been signed by The Hour’s very own Lisa Greenwood (plays Sissy Cooper) and retweeted by Oona Chaplin (Marnie Madden).
