When I first saw the ad for it some weeks ago I thought, "Oh yeah? Cool!" because I'm a lifetime member of the Big Stevie fan club, and anything with his name on it catches my attention. However, I am NOT a Pierce Brosnan fan. (I think his acting range runs from A to B, with a repertoire of about three facial expressions.) So the more ads I saw, the more I thought, "Um...no." It's available OnDemand minus the commercials, but still...no.
My dad attempted to watch it, but gave up after 10 minutes.
I agree with you on everything, from the SK lifetime member of his fan club to this production and Brosnan. I had the first part on the tv the other night as I cruised the flist and did online stuff - it was so so slow. And the conclusion, which Mom had on the tv at her place last night - there's this stuff I won't spoil for you in case you change your mind - but it was definite eyeroll territory. And there was also a terrible tragedy which made me feel something in spite of itself, and a wtf moment as to how they resolved the romance. It was just bad - so disappointing.
