A. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
B. Tag seven people to do the same.
C. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it."
Since I was tagged by
true_brit :
1. I married an Arab in my teens, and a Jew in my thirties. Still married to the second one:)
2. When my fingers get wrinkly and prune up in the shower or pool, I can't stand rubbing them together. It's like fingernails down a chalkboard - it makes me shudder. My blasted child knows this and comes after me rubbing her wrinkly-ass fingers together after she showers and touching me with them. Gah!
3. I can barely kill a bug without angsting about it, but I can write and enjoy some pretty rough stuff.
4. I'm very loud. More so when drinking. But it's a happy loud. I shout happily. (Okay, when I'm not drinking and I'm loud, uh, you'd notice it's not always happy. Then you'd tell me to shut the hell up.)
5. I have no lobes. (These last two are brought to you by my husband and my friend. Thanks, guys. And my lobes are attached, not fucking non-existent.)
6. Once I climbed outside the balcony of the 2nd to the top floor of the Hyatt and hung there like a bug. It wasn't my idea, but I did it. It was the first guy I married. We thought it was funny. I was young, okay?
7. Do NOT TOUCH MY SCREEN. I don't DO FINGERPRINTS ON MY LAPTOP.
Not tagging (I know I'm supposed to!) I hope some of you do it anyway:)

Date: 2010-01-10 12:24 am (UTC)5: you clearly have all your lobe power between the ears.
As for #7, I just invested in a new laptop; immediately to my right is an equally brand new package of screen wipes plus one of those anti-static dust rags for the shellac-like exterior. Better nobody defile my 'baby', but if they do, I'm ready to take on all comers :D
So glad you replied to the meme - it's great to see you!

Date: 2010-01-10 12:55 am (UTC)2. Why do family members like to torment us? My dad used to chase me with bugs. I think I've been permanently scarred. :-P
3. Hee, funny how that works, huh?
6. *meep* O.o

Date: 2010-01-10 05:06 am (UTC)I don't think I could take the chasing with bugs, ew ugh!
You know what, I guess I do see a bit of a similarity - the bone structure is very strong in both men, for one thing.
re: the #6 - I did several insane things as a young woman, truly as if I were invulnerable. I'm lucky I made it, in retrospect. I hope I manage to teach my children to have a little more caution. I literally shudder!

Date: 2010-01-10 08:16 am (UTC)Yeah, I don't mean they actually *look* alike, but there's just enough to make me look twice (not that I need an excuse to look, mind you. At either of them. Heh. And I'm more a Dean/Kid Curry girl *BG*)
Y'know, I think we all say we did reckless things in our youth, but I have a feeling you were a lot closer to the edge than most, eh? So glad you survived it all! *smishes you*
