My friend heard about it, bought the first season dvd and brought it over. First season turns out to be a little over two hours (go figure?), and the second, I think, is about 5 episodes? Anyway, turns out it comes from Here! tv (http://www.heretv.com), which promotes itself as "Gay television. No apologies." It airs in the US as a pay cable channel.
The show itself is cheese. I've never seen such cheese.(http://www.dantescove.com/) It promotes itself as "undressed and possessed," (!!) and that about covers it. It's basically Dark Shadows Gay pron - plenty of skin (there was this rather *large* penis in the first few minutes of the show, but none since), a central romance, and the supernatural. I call the romantic pair S&H - they're the ones you saw in the shower at youtube. I started wailing, "Huuuuutch," ala Jeanie-style, when Kevin/Hutch was being bewitched and mistreated. The 2nd time I did it, I thought Cass was coming after me with a big stick:)
It's strangely addictive. I think it might be because there is much in the way of oiled bodies and soiled romance, yay!

It's a wonderfully badly done show, full of naked bodies and sex and intrigue. Fun fun stuff! I call them S&H (maybe I'm dreamin' a little - why couldn't they have done THAT??)
yeah, it's kinda like, gentlewomen, staaarrt your engines... the blond is kinda pretty and he gets bewitched and mistreated... sounds kinda familiar, somehow. Hm.
