Ah, you really liked the reworked ending? That's great - you know I can never leave things alone, I fiddle like crazy until it makes *me* crazy. But I looked at it again before bedtime last night and added a few details and stuff to make it a little friendlier to people who aren't big ASJ buffs and then this and that, and then the money ending changed just a little, because Heyes was so bad off over the money, wasn't he, in the pilot episode - and now I'm done! (Well, except for that typo I saw today, sigh)

But it was fun and that's what I was aiming for. I mean, there was no real pressure there, it made it nice.

Apart from a single song vid, I've never seen ASJ (though I definitely want to) but I still really liked this snippet. Really evocative and an intriguing look at the characters.

It was called "Dead or Alive" - I did it back when I didn't know to cut music down and had some technical problems, but what can I say? I was learning and I had fun with it:)

Yes! It was your vid. Just dug it out of my byzantine filing system and watched it again. It's a fun vid and the source looks absolutely delicious. And of course Pete Duel is the one who made me go "who *is* that guy," poor lad.

I'd love a couple of disks. (I'm on a tight budget these days and have been reluctant to buy the box, sight unseen, but seeing a few eps could tip me over.) Will email now.

The Westerns channel is the source and it looks good except for that PESKY logo that pops in and out.

Oh yeah, Pete Duel would draw anybody in. As Heyes, he's a powerhouse - charismatic, charming, greedy (though in the pilot episode he has an almost alarming Barney Fife thing going on at times) - just wait until you see the ass-slap, too:)

Oooooo...me like. Love the conflict of interest there. Fits Hayes so well. Can't remember if the show ever forced him to make that choice. Sure would make a great story if they didn't.

no, I'm not a member of any ASJ LJ group, where is that one you've mentioned? I'm not sure about writing challenges, but I'll always give the art ones a try ;) probably with icons, since I've done those most recently with Bloodties challenges
