My wedding anniversary today and I COMPLETELY FORGOT. Not just momentarily, folks, I never thought about it. I thought, "wait, is it a super moon tonight"?
No. I MISSED THAT TOO.
Kind of. I saw it, I was out, and it was lovely. Oh, and there's another Sept. 9.
ANYWAY.
Nineteen years of marriage, how the ever-loving fuck did that happen? I'm really happy to still have him after all these years.
Yeah, I got an email with the title YOU FORGOT AGAIN. oops. I just don't know why I keep forgetting!
I swear I like him, and consider myself really lucky that we're together.

Nineteen years sounds like forever but it has flown by. I don't tend to make a big deal out of holidays and things like that (except for the kids) so I've never made a big thing out of the anniversary. I think sometimes he likes to tease me about being That Guy that forgets the anniversary. oh well!

Oh nutbunnies!

It is an episode of Keeping Up Appearances where the husband has to buy an anniversary gift for his wife after the date (because he forgot). He bought her a house alarm that she'd been going on about for days. She's so overjoyed that he remembered that she sets the alarm to their anniversary date.

...and so naturally he forgets the code and sets the alarm off and she greets him in big tears. idk I thought it was hilarious
