I had this thought that it'd be awesome if Dean's secret was outed during the trial and Sam still managed to defend him, but oh well. I'll wait and see what they're going to do with this.
This was really what I'd wanted too. So while I enjoyed this episode, I feel like they missed an opportunity. It would have been very interesting indeed to see Sam have to push past his own feelings about Amy's death to understand instead why Dean might have felt he needed to do what he'd done.
