I bet you're right and she just hasn't seen the story for whatever reason, but yeah, I wanted to howl a little:) My other three recipients at Yuletide were so, so nice. As for your experience with writing for someone, I hate that they didn't say anything:(
I hardly ever write for other people, but in Yuletide, you offer several fandoms you feel you can write and what main characters, and then Yuletide tries to match you up. You go read your recipients LJ and hopefully they've written a Dear Yule letter in which you get to find out more of their preferences.
I wrote my main story from the match Yuletide gave me, then the other three was me looking through other requests and filling them as gifts. Fun stuff.
and PS: I have really loved your gifts, and PLUS they have, a couple of times, reminded me to do the same and send them out as well, so it's very good.
