you should tell me what to read of Roque's because I am more of a Sam girl and enjoy reading stories about him, though I have to say that I thought re: the apocalyptic story from buffy13 (WHAT is the name of that story - I am NOT good with names) that I'd like more characterization for Dean. He was pretty far in the background. That's the only thing I didn't love about it - I noticed he wasn't given a lot to do - what do you think? But the Sam story was absolutely excellent. The whole thing was. I adored it. Very involving.
Well, callisto's (callisto85 maybe? I can check when I get home if you want) stories are short but good. She mostly writes gen, but she doesn't have a lot out yet in the fandom. There's more I like that's gen but I'll have to try and remember names. I'm not at home so I can't look for my notes. I'm at work, they're paying me for this:) What about you, whowhat else do you like to read?
I have this weird taste, I think - I can read the weirdest stuff ever (but I'm pretty weird and I'm not really fond of being told I CAN'T write or read almost anything) and I read some badfic, whatever, if it caters to what I'm hankering at the moment. Then I turn around and get a little picky about fic. I have no excuse for myself. I love angst and dark fiction but there's some pretty happy j2 fiction I like out there, much lighter than I think I could ever write. But yeah, I'll pretty much read anything unless it just doesn't hold my interest. Sometimes I read things just to see if it'll shock me:)
I'm a HUGE lurker, though I didn't used to be. Got busy and not willing to get involved in some of the online clashes. You shouldn't be shy with me - I can be pretty strange though.
I actually got into an argument with a TV writer (from Blood Ties) about fan fiction, he was truly an ass who very clearly doesn't know where to look for excellent fan fic. I could name a dozen books on the market right now, original fic, that most SPN ff writers would probably refuse to post because of the quality. my email's valwp@yahoo.com if you want it, okay?
