Feb. 9th, 2007 08:13 amSo, we had a big warehouse fire here Wednesday morning, made the national news. And the boss let me stay home because of my asthma, being as our office is pretty close to the fire. I walked the dog that afternoon and even here, my eyes watered continually and I had to use my inhaler in the middle of the walk. I wasn't really surprised - I'm not all that far away.
Those old warehouses have sat there for so long. Crumbling, windows shattered, hulking relics. I liked them for that. Someone should have written a horror story about them.
