Every year, C and I write each other a story for Christmas.* It's really my most treasured gift because it's done very specifically for my love of a fandom, issued from her lovely brain for love of me. And it's really ideal because we have many fandoms in common, and neither of us shy away from a dark story. We are dark, twisty people.
However, last year the prompts really started to get away from us. She's so very good at whipping up these ideas, and it spurs me in kind. I am beginning to believe the prompting is as much fun as the writing:)
We've already started with more this year--I thought I'd post them all here for fun, and for a record. I'll update it as needed--I'm sure there will be plenty more prompts to add as we get closer to Christmas.

For 2015, we'll do another story in March somehow related to the Xmas 2014 stories we wrote (sequel, prequel, tie-in). In June another story in our same fandom. In September we'll switch fandoms with each other, so she'll have Batman: Under the Red Hood and I'll have Alias Smith and Jones.

Apollo is the favored son of Commander Adama. He's a leader and the chosen messenger of the Beings of Light. Starbuck is his best friend and wingman. He's also an orphan with no family, a gambler, and a womanizer. Apollo cares about him - he does - but he just can't help but lord it over him sometimes, remind him who's in charge and why. It just makes him so malleable.

Flint and Vane in a lifeboat together.  No land or other boats in sight. Food and water are running low.

Cesare and Micheletto, in the rain after disposing of the body of Ursula's husband (I'm sure he had a name, but damned if I can remember it).

Some time after Henry leaves Toronto, he, Vicki, and Mike all wake up in a brightly lit white room together. The room has a king size mattress on the floor and a small bathroom with a toilet, a cubicle shower, and no door. Twice a day, food is given to Vicki and Mike through a slot that opens near the floor. Nothing is provided for Henry. Do whatever you want with it : )

Santanico isn't what Richie thought. She's not salvation in a pretty, fuckable package. She's a girl who's been kept a slave in a dark temple for hundreds of years and she's angry about it. Angry enough to take it out on the whole world now that she's finally back in it. She doesn't direct her anger at Richie, but she won't listen to him either. Every time he tries to speak up, she crawls inside his brain and... well, he thought it was bad before, but there's no way out of this. No beautiful woman at the end of the journey to lead him out of the hell in his own head.
He really wishes Seth would come back.

The Fast and the Furious

I think maybe Jason does. Perhaps he's trying to lure Tom out of hiding? They came after him? What if harry comes out, finds him, starts to do him, clay is calling out, tom, NO.
Or maybe Harry left him there as a present for Tom?
Or maybe someone else altogether?
I like Jason luring tom out after they came after him, or Harry doing it,, maybe Harry left him there for JASON even.

One of the (many) reasons that Raylen couldn't make peace with Arlo was because when he was fifteen, Arlo caught him in the middle of a blackberry patch with Garner Pruitt doing things he shouldn't have been doing with another boy. Garner is all grown up now with a grown up drug habit and he just traded Boyd a story about Raylen's past for a quick hit.

Killjoys
1. Nobody forgets that Davin's the newest crew member--even when he's in bed with Dutch and Johnny. Davin doesn't mind.
2. Both the boys are captured and tortured and Dutch gets them back - she's EXCELLENT at rescuing them, but then they're all brokeny and that she doesn't know how to fix.

I remember we talked about a western story one time, you gave me a prompt. Think it might have been for original fiction? Or ASJ, I can't remember. Anyway I'll embellish here: They're on the run, separated. One of the guys is camping on the outskirts of the desert by himself. He's miserable, exhausted. And his partner comes to comfort him during the night.

Later we find out his partner didn't make it. (You can hide that last sentence if you list the prompt and don't want to spoil it when you post it)

2. Slash anyone together, m/m or f/f, except for Ash. I do not care for him, but otherwise find all the characters more or less engaging. (Though I really like both Ripley and Dallas, I don't have much interest in a pairing between them.)
3. Give Lambert a more heroic ending. Though I think she actually died in character, I'd like to see her find some defiance in the face of her own death.
4. More back story/origin story on the alien race. More back story on any of the characters.

AU first season or right after Richie's sprung Seth from jail.
Sure, Richie's brilliant, but Seth is scared (no, not scared, because Seth will fix it—somehow—) that his brother just might be batshit insane.
But sometimes—when the batshit's gone too deep and Seth can't unsee it, or it's the middle of the night and he can't shut out the thought: he could have that life, somewhere on his own. Scoring big and living high with a beautiful girl.
Then the brothers get in a fix and there's only two options left—Seth can save himself and leave Richie, or they both go down together—what's Seth gonna do?

AU,  S1 and S2 (timeline mangled). At this point we only know Richie's off his rocker, seeing and hearing things.
Seth's a junkie. The stress of trying to handle Richie's weirdness and visions and keep him from exploding has left Seth with a very large monkey on his back.
Richie comes back to their hotel room and finds Seth blissed to the max, stretched out on the bed and unable to help himself. He stands over Seth's prone body, the visions/voice urging him to finally, finally touch Seth like he's wanted since forever.
And after all, the voice tells him, oh so low and sweet--if his brother doesn't like it, Richie could always just kill him and dig out his eyeballs.

I know I've written something similar to this in the past, but I cannot resist asking for another version of: "The Fix" (AU)
Hutch is recovering from his heroin addition. He's miserable, striking out, unstable, desperate. (Let's say he no longer wants to like, throw up, though). Dirty, bad, wrong Starsky-comforts-distracts-him-sex.
Starsky can feel guilty about it if you like, but he's also very very into it, almost uncontrollably.

Supernatural
1. Sam/Dean, Sam badly, badly hurt or tortured, maybe with his pretty throat featured/mentioned, maybe tied back so he's all vulnerable and hurting and fucked over when Dean finds him, and/or he's been bespelled with a sex spell so it's fuck or die but he's so ASHAMED, and Dean? Dean is angry for Sam, protective, sweet as he can manage to show; and vengeful as hell about it all.
2. Sam's taken by other hunters, kind of the same situation with the hunters in season five, "Free to Be You and Me," where they found out who'd brought on the end of the world and tried to feed him blood to get him to kill the demons in town- only maybe there's a big group of them that come after him this time, egging him on, teasing, hitting and hurting him while he's bound tight. Like Aslan when he's sacrificed:) Until Sam's out of his head, lots of victimization, hitting, even touching or abusing ... it's all good. I saw a request at the storyfinders journal and I like what they added to this idea, so I'll c & p here: "Are there any fics where they managed it? Where, willing or otherwise, Sam was used as a weapon against demons and his powers developed because the hunters kept juicing him and shoving him in dangerous situations beyond mere mental exorcisms?"
3. Dean completely incapacitates Sam in bed, has him screaming for more - HE HAS TENTACLES. I know not how. 

Werewolf By Night ((1972 comics)
1. You haven't even read this but maybe you will sometime, and I want to prompt it, because WEREWOLF BY NIGHT. Jack's forced to watch Lisa (his sister) be tortured

His arms and shoulders were aching and his calves were cramping. It was bad enough that he was hanging in the dark like a side of beef, but they'd also drugged him. They must have because he was hard and aching and completely unable to get any relief. As torture went, it was pretty damn effective.

Summary:
By all rights Zach should be dead, with Mal forced into the wolf pack that turned him into a monster. But that's not what happens.
Mal is a werewolf, but he's not part of the pack. He and Zach are alive and swearing vengeance on the wolves that started them down this road. All they have to do is learn to control Mal's rising wolf, all the while fighting off a seemingly invincible pack determined to claim Mal as their own. Oh, and stay together in the face of Mal's guilt and fear for Zach's safety.
