Lilith was a nasty something for sure, so naturally I sicced her on Sam. Ruby just grew as the story was developing, you know, what if she really was the kind of demon Ruby 1 claimed to be? I mean, I had no idea she wasn't until very late, truthfully. I was thrilled to see that last piece of art, knowing it was done just for this story - it seriously made my day, and I like the roughness of it, actually - feels real. And oh Sam's face!!! I do wish we'd had more time to work together but honestly, at this point I feel lucky I got it done at all, with everything going on. I was pretty determined, though - I'd hate to pull out after committing, and I'm glad it all worked out.
