vacation

I took this photo years ago at Panama City Beach (and used it in the first zine as a background for a poem):



I'll be going back there on the 29th (Cass! no GNO for a couple weeks, wah!) and will irritate you with photos, most likely. I plan to sit on the beach and eat seafood and play with my kids and write. CANNOT wait.

It all fell together really quickly. The boss's wife seemed okay with it when I was talking to Mom on the phone about her going back to the beach with Pete, so I asked, and Dave's work was okay, and even this little hole in the wall that I'd saved their website as a favorite six years ago had an opening (which it didn't, two years ago when I called) and a beachfront room.

Are you doing okay? See you Saturday?

thank you, thay. PCB is pretty touristy but St. Andrews Park can't be beat, and neither can those beautiful white beaches. Not to mention that fact that we usually spot dolphins at some point (love the dolphins!)

wow, that picture is beautiful and more so in color. Looks like such an awesome place. Wish I had something like that around here, I'd be there all the time probably ;)

so sorry about your back, sweetie. It takes us 8-10 hours to drive to this beach, and we haven't been in a couple of years - I miss it a lot. I'll send some photos if I get any good ones:)
