my best friend's ringtone for me is Sam saying, "My daddy shot your daddy in the head," and as you could guess, it freaks people out. Once my husband called her because he couldn't get me on my cell and he knew we were together. Her phone was in her purse in the foot board, and I'm driving and I hear Sam singsonging that - do you know how SHOCKING that can be? Hell, anybody speaking from THE FLOORBOARD will pretty much separate the shit from the shinola.

Oh dear.. this is the embarassing bit! I have no technical knowhow whatsoever, so I got my ringtone old school - by turning the volume way up and recording it off the telly!

It works really well and actually sounds realistic enough to scare people!

I think you're charming, recording off the TV that way. Hell, I used to sound-record episodes of my favorite TV show so I could at least listen to it again (Jeez, there were no VCRs when I was little. *creak*)
