I don't remember if you've said what it's about on your LJ, but I'm curious. But I tell you what, I'm never really what I'd call sad when I finish something that long, that afterward I'm kind of at a loss. But then I've had a tough time getting things finished over the last year or so.
No, I'm totally flattered you want to know. It's an AU for the Pilot and Season 1 - what if John is the one to go get Sam at Stanford because Dean is the one gone missing? I'm sure it's been done before, but so is every idea, and I haven't read it... It's been a lot of fun and in general, has been very easy stress-free writing, other than being so friggin long! :)
It's been a while since a story had come easy like that, and I think I know the next one will be so much harder.
