hey there! For me the hallucinations were the easy part, being kind of twisted as I am:) I was having the worst trouble trying to go from canon to this au, trying to fit in what came before - it hurt my brain!
I guess you're right about these unresolved things being really true to them, and to life - but sometimes when I'm watching or reading something, I'd like more resolution than realism:)
