AO3 thingum and Easter

I saw it via [livejournal.com profile] cathybites - your most popular A03 stories based on the number of hits. Now I don't have bunches of readers, but still I'm really surprised about what came out at #1.

I put an honorable mention on the list because I am VERY FOND OF IT. And anyway it's #11 -
Burning Blue (SPN, Wincest)- a case story and a Sam without a soul story, in which Dean grieves and wants what Sam doesn't have anymore. Sam tries to help anyway.

10. Always Our Protector (Let the Right One In, 2008) - after the train at the end of the movie.
  9. Fuck and Die (Californication - tv show) - an AU story of Ashby's swan song.
  8. Destiny Never Dies (Only People) (Dante's Cove, hahaha) - picks up at the end of Season 2. What happens to
to Kevin, what Van and Toby do about it, and how Grace gets involved.
  7. Blood on the Sun (Starsky & Hutch) - kidnapped and desperate.
  6. A Snake, a Blue Blazer and a Girl Once Lost (Dark Blue) - Dean/Jaimie/Ty, set right after the series ends
  5. In the Dying Light (Starsky & Hutch) Starsky goes to New York for a family reunion, and Hutch disappears.
  4. Salt of the Earth (The Long Walk - Stephen King book) - Garraty and McVries, set sometime after Pete
asked THAT question. You know. (The one where he asks if he can jerk Ray off. In case you didn't.)
  3. Cherry Bomb (SPN, Wincest) Set after Dean's deal and before he goes to hell. AKA: Impala sex.
  2. Wild, Wild Zombieland (Lonesome Dove. I am not kidding) - Gus, Call and zombie cows. Yup.
  1. Diamond Dogs (SPN, little bit of Wincest, little bit of horror) - one is bitten and takes the other down.

Easter: took a walk, dyed eggs, filled baskets, hid eggs. Hid eggs. Ate dinner. Ate candy. Ate cake. It was a lovely day, though you probably can't quite tell it from this:) My children are growing up, and this makes me both happy and sad. They are lovely girls. My mother is growing old, which makes me both happy and sad. Love her bunches. I teased her about her deviled eggs mercilessly (oops, added salt TWICE. Argh).
